Motorola Moto Z2 Play Launched in India with Android 7.1.1 Nougat

Motorola has announced the launch of Moto Z2 Play in India with 7.1.1 Nougat. The smartphone will be available in India starting at Rs 27,999 across all leading mobile stores and and users can pre-book the device till June 14 from both offline as well as online.

 

The Moto Z2 Play comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels coupled with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor clocked at 2.2GHz. It comes in two RAM and storage variants: one with 3GB Ram and 32GB storage, while the other comes in 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The storage can be further expanded up to 2TB via micro SD card slot. The Moto Z2 Play comes with a 12-megapixel rear camera, dual LED flash and laser and dual autofocus lens. For the front, there is a 5-megapixel camera and  3000mAh battery along with TurboPower charger. Connectivity include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/b/n, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, headphone jack, NFC, FM radio, and GPS/ A-GPS.

Motorola has also introduced exciting pre-booking offers including through which one can pre-book the latest device for Rs 2,000 and can pay 10 monthly EMIs without any interest. The major highlight of the smartphone is the sleek design. The device is just 5.99mm thick and weighs just 145 grams, making it one of the slimmest smartphones available in the market right now.

 

The Moto Z2 Play comes loaded with Moto Experiences as well. There is a night display feature which automatically adjusts the screen temperature to a warmer tone at night. Then there is Moto Voice which will provide helpful info like weather or calendar updates, or automatically launch an application without having to touch or unlock your phone.
Through Moto Actions one can perform different actions by performing different gestures on the fingerprint scanner, which is embedded in the home button. One can activate one button navigation to quickly move through screens. Swipe left to go back, right to access recent apps, tap to go home, and use one long press to lock your phone.
